ABOUT US
McCarthy Family Farm is a fourth-generation farm in Mt. Hood, Oregon. Formerly Trout Creek Orchard, our family farm continues to produce premium fruit, fresh-cut flowers, and traditional wreaths using sustainable farming practices. In addition to the pears, apples, and flowers that we sell through our online store, we grow cherries, hay, cattle, and Christmas trees for wholesale customers. We also offer farm management services for orchardists, farmers, and ranchers in the Hood River Valley.
Rooted in Place – The Early Days
Our great-grandfather, Homer Rogers, homesteaded in the upper Hood River Valley in 1910.
The Next Generation
Mike and Susan McCarthy expanded McCarthy Family Farm (formerly Trout Creek Orchard) by purchasing additional pear and apple orchards.
